Nick Chmura M.Ed., LPC, Counselor Nick Chmura is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who works with adolescents, college students, and adults experiencing depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, and life transitions. He received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Cleveland State University and has participated in trainings at the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland and other centers for growth & human development. Nick uses a mixed approach of person centered, Gestalt, and cognitive behavioral techniques to encourage awareness, discovery, and growth in his clients. His clients have included individuals with substance use challenges, LGBTQ+ people, teens in crisis, and college students. He sees importance in a healthy mind and body, promoting wellness through exercise, meditation, and yoga. Through a strong relationship with his clients, he nurtures a therapeutic environment that is a safe place for disclosure and authenticity. Working with Nick, expect to learn more about who you are along with techniques to cope with life’s challenges.
