Alex Ade

Alex is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Grow Well Cleveland, LLC. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honors and a Master of Education with a Specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ohio University. Alex completed his practicum and internship experience in community mental health, which included outpatient mental health individual and group sessions, crisis intervention, SUD residential groups, and risk assessments in jail. Since obtaining his LPC license, Alex has gained experience in private practice.

He has worked with clients of all ages in counseling, specializing in working with clients living with anxiety, depression, autism spectrum, ADHD, and those dealing with life transitions or stressors. Alex previously worked with children on the autism spectrum as a Registered Behavior Technician.
These experiences in the helping profession have cultivated Alex’s belief that every client can create change in their mental health and in their lives. His goal as a counselor is to support every client in their mental health journey to the best of his ability through acceptance, genuineness, and empathy.

Alex uses a therapeutic approach centered around Person Centered Therapy (PCT) while integrating skills and interventions from various modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), depending on the client’s situation and goals.

Alex sees clients in-person and virtually.

Alex is under the supervision of Jessica Sen, LPCC-S.
