Cassie Petro M.Ed., LPCC, Counselor Cassie is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC). Cassie received her M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology at Cleveland State University. Cassie is committed to fostering a therapeutic environment that is safe, collaborative, and encouraging with the client's goals remaining at the forefront of their counseling journey. Cassie has worked with individuals struggling with OCD, anxiety, depression, grief, peer relationships, and life transitions. Cassie is also passionate about working with individuals a part of the LGBTQIA+ community by helping clients navigate their unique challenges, while respecting and honoring their personal experiences. Cassie utilizes an eclectic theoretical approach to treatment. Based on individual needs, she integrates a variety of therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to: cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, solution focused, and more.
