Amanda Giddens

Amanda Giddens is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) at Grow Well Cleveland, LLC. She earned her Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Dakota State University. Amanda has experience with all ages with specific experience working on college campuses and in the hospital providing emergency assessments and support for those experiencing a mental health crisis.

As a counselor, Amanda roots her work in meeting clients where they are emotionally. Her person-centered approach provides her clients with the space to explore anxiety, depression, adjustment related concerns, sexuality and gender, relationship issues, and many other topics.

Amanda strives to create a space for her clients that is open, affirming, non-judgmental, and safe. Utilizing an integrative treatment approach means you will see bits and pieces of cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy woven into your sessions.

When not in the counselor role, Amanda can be found teaching ethics, spending time with her family, drinking lots of coffee, and dreaming of quiet days at the beach.
