Kim Griffith

Kim Griffith is a licensed professional clinical counselor and supervisor at Grow Well Cleveland, LLC.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education at Ohio University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at John Carroll University. 

Kim has worked in a variety of settings which include community mental health, college campuses, residential treatment and private practice. She especially enjoys working with clients struggling with college transitions, relationship issues, eating disorders, self-worth/self-esteem and a variety of anxiety disorders.  Kim also enjoys facilitating workshops for both struggling couples and those looking to enhance their relationships. 

Kim uses a variety of interventions stemming from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Kim has also completed Level 1 and Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. In sessions, Kim works collaboratively with clients to set the therapy agenda, understand the current issue/s, select coping skills to utilize, assign/review therapy homework, track client progress, and gather feedback regarding what is helpful and unhelpful for her clients. Kim is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Kim has a love for dogs, music, travel and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys using humor in sessions and considers herself to be fairly funny, but we’ll let you be the judge!
