Kali Dehn

Kali is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S) in the state of Ohio. She earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Gannon University in 2017. Throughout her career, Kali has gained experience in community mental health, school, and hospital settings, working with children, adolescents, and adults.

Kali has particular experience in supporting young adults as they navigate life transitions, identity development, relationships, and the many changes that come with entering adulthood. Kali also has previous experience working with clients presenting with concerns related to problematic sexual behaviors.

Kali values the therapeutic alliance and believes that a strong, trusting relationship between client and counselor is an important foundation for meaningful growth and healing. Her approach is rooted in person-centered care and guided by a trauma-informed lens. She incorporates evidence-based approaches including EMDR therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs and goals.

She believes that counseling is most effective as a collaborative process where clients feel empowered to share openly, explore difficult experiences, and work towards meaningful change at their own pace.  She strives to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and accepted throughout their therapeutic journey.

Outside of her work, Kali enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two sons. She can often be found playing Pokémon GO, spending time outdoors, camping, listening to music, or cuddling with her corgi, Fritz. Kali believes that making space for connection, adventure, and the things we enjoy is an important part of a balanced life.
