Jim Buccini

Jim Buccini is a Licensed Social Worker at Grow Well Cleveland, where he supports individuals navigating life’s challenges with empathy, compassion, and practical tools. He earned his Master of Social Work (MSW) from Syracuse University and brings a rich background in higher education, student support, and mental health. Throughout his career, Jim has been committed to creating inclusive, welcoming spaces where individuals feel understood, respected, and empowered.

Jim believes that clients already carry the strengths and resources they need within themselves. His role is to help them discover those abilities and provide the tools that make that process possible. He meets clients where they are, recognizing the challenges of life transitions, the weight of anxiety and depression, and the deeply personal nature of self-discovery and identity development.

Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and a person-centered, strengths-based approach, Jim tailors his work to each individual’s unique needs. He focuses on building resilience, fostering self-awareness, and guiding clients through moments of uncertainty and change. Whether supporting someone in managing stress, navigating a new phase of life, working through identity-related challenges, or exploring issues related to LGBTQ+ identity and belonging, Jim provides a compassionate and collaborative space for growth and healing.
