Ann Rippel M.S. Ed., LPCC-S, Counselor Ann Rippel is a licensed professional clinical counselor and supervisor (LPCC-S) in Ohio with 14 years of experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication from The Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Dayton. She has worked in a variety of settings including crisis, community mental health, and private practice. As an “out” queer clinician, Ann utilizes a holistic, person-centered, and culturally sensitive approach to therapy to understand each client on an individual level. She believes you are the expert on your life and is honored to help you achieve your unique goals for therapy. Ann has been trained in and utilizes Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) for trauma, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Clinical Hypnosis upon request. Ann’s areas of focus in practice include helping those experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, stress, life transitions, post-traumatic stress disorder, past trauma, couples therapy, and those wanting to quit unhealthy habits. She is also passionate about helping individuals to promote self-esteem, self-worth, empowerment, and self-actualization. Ann enjoys seeing both individuals and couples and is an inclusive, non-judgmental, supportive, and affirming therapist, who cannot wait to start working with you in achieving your unique goals for therapy.
