Kaeley Doyle

Kaeley Doyle is a licensed professional counselor and EMDR (Eye Movement and Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist. Kaeley earned her bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northeastern Illinois University. Kaeley has always been passionate about mental health and helping others. However, it wasn’t until she had been working in the corporate world for many years, she decided to follow her passion and pursue counseling as a career. She has experience working with children and adolescents in Title 1 Chicago schools and after school programs, as well as seeing individuals, couples, and families in a private practice setting. Kaeley is passionate about assisting clients with relationship concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and various other issues. Kaeley has worked with clients of all ages and has the most experience with those in young and middle adulthood.
Kaeley employs a trauma-informed approach as well as a combination of EMDR, person-centered, attachment-based, Jungian, and cognitive behavioral interventions. Kaeley believes that building a trustworthy therapeutic relationship is the most important part of the counseling process. Kaeley believes her ability to connect with others is her strongest asset as a counselor. She focuses on genuinely accepting her clients for who they are and where they are at, showing clients how to love and accept themselves and encourages clients to use positive self-talk and quiet their inner critic. Kaeley is passionate about using EMDR to help clients process their past traumas. She provides a safe, non-judgmental environment for clients to process their emotions and heal from their past so that it doesn’t hold them back in the present.
