Jackie Fry

Jackie Fry is a licensed professional counselor and art therapist at Grow Well Cleveland, LLC. She earned a B.A. in Spanish from Kent State University and a dual Master’s in Counseling and Art Therapy from Ursuline College. She has worked in a variety of settings with clients who face mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use, anger, relationship struggles, life transitions and adjustments, ADHD, and other neurodiverse experiences. Jackie also has experience working in residential treatment for severe and persistent mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, OCD, and major depression.
Jackie is passionate about helping others utilize their unique creativity as a means for healing, self-exploration, insight, expression, and empowerment. She strives to create a supportive, safe, and non-judgmental environment where clients can explore and gain insight about themselves, their potential, and their goals. Jackie is passionate about diminishing the stigma of mental illness and advocating for her clients.
Jackie uses an eclectic treatment approach including dialectical behavioral therapy, exposure response prevention, Gestalt, ecotherapy, and art therapy which is trauma-informed and person-centered.
In her spare time, Jackie enjoys relaxing at home with her two cats, Louie and Donne, and spending time in nature. She is a yoga instructor and avid frisbee player during the summer months. Jackie loves learning new things, learning about other people, and of course, creating art!
