Jackie Casalina

Jackie Casalina is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) who enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and couples. She received her Bachelors degree from The Ohio State University in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies, and earned a Masters degree from Cleveland State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Jackie has worked in community mental health and facilitated groups. She has worked at a hospital, an outpatient clinic, college counseling centers, and in private practice. These experiences have allowed Jackie to develop an integrative, individualistic approach to treatment applying unique strategies to best suit each individual clients needs.

Jackie began her clinical work as a child care worker developing specializations in crisis intervention skills, dialectical behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. She has developed group curriculums utilizing experiential techniques assisting individuals and groups through life transitions and trauma. As a psychotherapist, she integrates psychodynamic approaches in treatment. Jackie has completed a psychoanalytic psychotherapy program at the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center. Additionally, she is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Additional areas of focus include trauma, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.
