Cassie Kingan M.A., LPC, Counselor Cassie Kingan is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Grow Well Cleveland. Cassie earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration at the University of Cincinnati with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Cassie specializes in adult individual therapy to address anxiety, depression, chronic illness, career and life transitions, embodied social justice, parenting, relationships, stress, and trauma. Her work is grounded in intersectional feminist theory utilizing cognitive behavior, mindfulness, and somatic approaches. Cassie is affirming to individuals from marginalized, diverse communities with advanced training in Embodied Social Justice. Embodied Social Justice explores how we embody unjust social conditions, how oppression affects our relationship with our body, and how we can harness the body’s wisdom in making our social justice work more grounded, responsive, and sustainable. It is Cassie's goal to create a safe space where clients explore how trauma and systems of oppression impact the mind, body, and spirit. Cassie's pronouns are she/her/hers.
