April Elsasser

April Elsasser is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and art therapist (ATR) at Grow Well Cleveland. April earned a B.A. in Psychology at Cleveland State University in addition to an Associates in Arts and Humanities at Lorain County Community College. April holds a Master's degree in Counseling & Art Therapy from Ursuline College. 

April pays special attention to and affirms marginalized communities in Cleveland experiencing tribulations as a result of economic, political, environmental, and social oppression. April employs a feminist and wellness-based perspective within her clinical practice while utilizing treatment approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, humanistic, strength-based, narrative, existential, and person-centered modalities. 

April mainly employs a humanistic and wellness based treatment lens within her practice. April has undergone specific training to work with both the LGBTQ+ community and eating disorder population. 

April's preferred pronouns are she/her.
